Is my reservation confirmed?
Your reservation is confirmed when you receive an EMAIL CONFIRMATION FROM MARTHA. However, please do not forget to contact us two days beforehand to confirm weather and sea conditions. As our tours are dependent on Mother Nature, we do not ask for a deposit, so please respect our business and contact us ASAP if you need to cancel so that we can open up the boat to other guests. Does Cinque Terre dal Mare ever cancel trips?
Unfortunately sometimes we do have to cancel due to weather and sea conditions. In the event of a cancellation, we do our best to accomodate you on another trip. Please remember to CONTACT US AT LEAST TWO DAYS BEFORE your booking date. You can always reach Francesco at +39 3665099026
Do you have snorkeling gear on board?
Yes, we provide snorkeling gear (also for kayak rentals) but if you wish to bring your own gear, you are more than welcome.
Is there a bathroom on the boat?
No, there are no bathrooms on board. Please be sure to come with your swim suits on.
Is there anything else we should bring?
Hat, sunglasses, camera and any food and drinks are at the top of our list. Cinque Terre dal Mare does not provide beach towels.
I’m arriving by car. Where do I park?
If you are arriving to Riomaggiore by car, please arrive SEVERAL hours beforehand as parking is not easy to find (especially in the summer months). There is a parking structure in Riomaggiore (RIO PARK), but there is often a wait. You can also opt to park in La Spezia and arrive to Riomaggiore by train (7 minutes and your first stop). The key is to ARRIVE EARLY. Once you park your car, come all the way down the main road (via Colombo) , cutting through the historical center. At the end of the road, turn left and down the staircase to the marina. As soon as you see the sea, our office is on the right hand side. Look for us in the yellow Cinque Terre dal Mare tshirts!.
I’m arriving by train. Is it easy to find your office?
IMPORTANT! Trains in Italy are NOTORIOUS for being late, so please be sure to take the earlier train if you do not want to risk missing your tour.
From the train station SQUARE in Riomaggiore (5 minute walk): With your back towards the sea, turn right and you’ll see a tunnel that will connect you to the historical center. At the end of that tunnel, go down the staircase directly in front of you. Follow it until you see the sea. As soon as you see the sea, the CINQUE TERRE DAL MARE office is on the right hand side, under the archway.

Our tours and rentals are weather-dependent. Mother nature usually cooperates, but on days of inclement weather, we will need to cancel your booking and depending on availability, you can select an alternate date where conditions are safe. PLEASE BE SURE TO CONTACT US AT LEAST 48 HOURS BEFORE YOUR BOOKING DATE TO CONFIRM WEATHER AND SEA CONDITIONS.
